Once construction has been completed, the £90m Cramlington Hospital development will be the first purpose built hospital in the country dedicated to providing emergency care.
At Cramlington Hospital, A&E consultants working 24/7 will treat seriously ill patients from Northumberland and North Tyneside and specialists in a wide range of conditions will be working seven days a week.

The site will have 210 acute beds spread across seven speciality wards. The hospital will also have a critical care unit, operating theatres for emergency/high risk surgery, birthing centre and special care baby unit.
Nymas were chosen to supply equipment from their Nyma®CARE range. The range has been formulated for use in public areas whilst its inherent antimicrobial design is perfect for hospital environments.
